Did you know that emojis haven’t always been available on LinkedIn? However just because they are now doesn’t mean you should use them endlessly in every single post.
Emojis are a useful tool for adding tone of voice to digital communications. A smiley face, eye roll or laughing emoji can help readers to understand your message. They also add a friendly face to what can be a very bland corporate world, but go easy….emoji overload can look messy and childish.
But more importantly, think about the sector you are in, the message you’re trying to convey and the audience you want to reach. If you’re from the corporate world, emojis might not be appropriate for your posts.
If you’re still unsure look at what your competitors are doing and trust your common sense!
