The Museum of East Dorset (previously the Priest’s House Museum) is a historic house situated in Wimborne containing collections and themed exhibitions telling the fascinating stories of people who lived and worked in the area over the centuries.
The Brief
The Museum of East Dorset’s objectives were:
A rebrand to reflect their new name and refurbished modern museum
A website to engage with multiple audiences including; local people, tourists and the education community
Ecommerce functionality to sell museum tickets, events, donations and membership to the museum
A range of marketing materials to reach their varied target audiences
A range of templates that they can continue to use within the brand guidelines
The Solution
In order to meet the Museum of East Dorset’s objectives we:
Created brand guidelines for distribution to team members and stakeholders to ensure the continuity of the brand
Created stationery templates including letterhead, continuation sheet, compliment slip, annual pass and staff badges
Designed leaflets to promote the museum to prospective visitors, members and volunteers
Designed a visitor guide including creating a simplified plan of the building and visitor route
Created poster and advertising templates for ongoing marketing
Created social media graphics in-line with the new brand
Designed and coded a bespoke responsive WordPress website to promote the website to various target audiences, including ecommerce functionality for visitor bookings, events, membership and donations
