The Brief
HD Building and Plastering are an established construction company who were looking to expand their customer base in the local area, they approached us to see how we could help them reach new audiences.
Strategy
HD needed to understand their market and competition and develop a strategy with a marketing partner they could work alongside.
Brand
The HD brand had been in place since the company’s inception and the directors were not sure if it was projecting the right message.
Website
The directors felt that their website, although functional, was not generating leads and they wanted to understand how it could be optimised.
Social Media
Although HD had a social media presence on Facebook and Instagram they weren’t sure how to effectively utilise that presence to generate leads.


Strategy
During our marketing strategy work with HD we uncovered their backgrounds to identify experience, talked about their service and process to find their unique selling points and investigated local competition to understand the threats and opportunities in the market.
Brand
We identified a need to rebrand HD Building & Plastering so that their brand aligned better with the local competition and appealed to their target audience. The new brand was implemented across all communication and marketing materials.
Website
We carried out a UX (user experience) assessment of HD’s website and found that although it was well built, responsive and secure it was missing some key information that prospects would need to make a buying decision. We worked with HD to add Project and Client Testimonials into the website.
Social Media
We refined HD’s Facebook and Instagram Profiles with the new brand and messaging and optimised Director Paul Haigh’s LinkedIn profile to match. We are undertaking a retained program of social media content and activities to reach new audiences.
